Get to know more about "the Brodiaea": The month of May celebrates Glendora's City Flower, the Brodiaea (bro-dee-ah). Join with us as we share the history, rescue, and management of this very rare and unique, one-of-a-kind, native plant.
This is also your invitation to learn about and participate in Glendora's Brodiaea-Fest Activities sponsored by the Glendora Conservancy during the month of May. Two short video/musical tributes to the Brodiaea and the region will be presented. Add more facts to your Glendora Trivia list: Glendora is the only city in California with an endangered species for its city flower. May is the peak of bloom for the Brodiaea, the city flower. Glendora has the most important plant populations of Brodiaea in the world, federally and state protected. (Come find out why.)
