In a 2016 Business Survey , 82% of respondents rated the City as a "Good to Excellent" place to conduct business.  In addition, the City was selected by the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation as the Most Business Friendly City in Los Angeles County, and was voted as the "Best Friendly City," and "Best Downtown" by the San Gabriel Valley Newsgroups Readers Choice Awards.  Among the many reasons why businesses select Glendora as a home for their business are: the High Quality of Life, the Access to freeways, metro areas, and customers.


 Glendora was recognized as a finalist for the Most Business Friendly City Eddy Award in
2012 and 2013 and was victorious in securing the title in 2014.

The City of Glendora is situated at the Foothill (210) and Orange (57) Freeways, within a 20 minute drive to Los Angeles, and the San Bernardino and Orange counties. The planned Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension includes a station in Glendora which will allow additional commute options to Glendora from Los Angeles, to the West, and Montclair, to the East.

The City of Glendora offers a Micro-Enterprise Program and a Small Business Loan to both new and existing business owners.  These programs are structured as a forgivable business loan covering  up to 75% of eligible project costs, up to $75,000.
