What is Dial-A-Ride?

Glendora's Dial-A-Ride service is a shared ride, curb-to-curb, transportation service provided to Glendora Residents who are 55 years of age or older, as well as residents who are younger than 55 who are unable to independently use the public transportation system due to permanent disability.  

Service hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am—5:00 pm and Saturday-Sunday, 9:00 am—2:00 pm. The cost to go anywhere within the City of Glendora is 50¢ for a one-way trip.  We also go outside of the City limits to approved medical facilities for medical appointments only.  Please contact Glendora Transportation at (626) 852-4814 for more information about the service and medical destinations in other Cities.

Fare Structure (One-Way):

Glendora = 50¢       Azusa, Covina, San Dimas = $1.50       Baldwin Park, Duarte, Pomona, W. Covina = $4.00

Sign Up!

In order to begin to use the Glendora Dial-A-Ride service you do need to complete the short application process.  There are a few ways you can complete the sign-up:

1) Print, fill out and mail the application found by clicking here.  Also, make sure to send a copy of a picture ID and at least one other form of proof of residency (utility bill, bank statement, recent piece of mail addressed to you).

2) Print, fill out and email back the application found by clicking here. Also, make sure to email a copy of a picture ID and at least one other form of proof of residency (utility bill, bank statement, recent piece of mail addressed to you).

3) Complete the application in person at our Transportation Center located at 410 E. Dalton Avenue.  Make sure to bring with you a picture ID and one form of proof of residency (utility bill, bank statement, recent piece of mail addressed to you).  If you would like to complete the application process in person but do not have a way to get to our office please give us a call and we will set up an appointment to have a vehicle pick you up, bring you to our office and then take you home.  This trip is free to you!

NOTE: If you are under 55 years of age and disabled you will need to fill out the Supplemental Application Form in addition to the General Application Form and have it verified by your doctor.

Once you are registered you can begin to reserve trips by calling our dispatch line at:

We ask all riders to call at least 48 hours ahead of your requested trip in order to make sure that we are able to offer you times that fit best with your doctors appointment or other trip destination.  Please make sure to have your desired time and destination address ready for your dispatcher.  We will do our best to accommodate day before and same day trips but may not always have the availability in our schedule.
