The United States Code contains the text of current public laws enacted by Congress (does not include regulations issued by executive branch agencies, decisions of the federal courts, or treaties).
Code of Federal Regulations
The Code of Federal Regulations is the codification of the general and permanent rules published in the Federal Register by the Executive Department and agencies of the Federal Government. The database will be updated throughout the current calendar year until a complete set is available.

California Code of Regulations
This searchable and browsable (by agency and title) database contains all 27 titles of the regulations with the exception of Title 24 - California Building Standards.This unofficial version has been put online by West Group, publisher of the official Barclays version.
