Glendora Library Partners with Shepherd's Pantry
Posted Date: 11/21/2012

The Glendora Public Library continues to ‘Be the Heart of the Community’ by providing a collection box for Shepherd’s Pantry on the main floor where community members can donate their food (non-perishable) and toiletry items. People need help all year long, not just during the holidays.

Items needed  by Shepherd’s Pantry include canned goods such as vegetables, beans, tuna and fruit;  jars  and packaged food such as rice, potatoes, pasta, cereal, peanut butter and jelly; and non-food items such as diapers, shampoo, deodorant, toilet paper, toothpaste and clothing. A complete list of recommended food items is available on the Shepherd’s Pantry website at www.shepherdspantry.com.  Please check the labels of food items to be sure they have not expired.

We all work together to make Glendora a wonderful town. Your library wants to do its part by responding to the needs of our community, both inside and outside of our library walls.

The Glendora Public Library is located at 140 S. Glendora Avenue. For more information regarding donations, visit the library’s website at www.glendoralibrary.org or call us (626) 852-4891.
