About the Friends Plaza Book Loft
The Friends Plaza Book Loft is located on the upper floor of the library building. Use the lobby stairs or elevator to visit. It offers a variety of used books, as well as new items such as greeting cards, bookmarks, book bags and gift items.
The Plaza Book Loft is operated by the Friends Foundation and their volunteers. All proceeds benefit the library.
Store Hours -- changing June 3rd!
The Friends Plaza Book Loft is open during most hours of library operation as volunteers are available. Through June 1st, the usual hours are:
- Monday through Wednesday 9:30 am - 4:30 pm
- Thursday and Friday 12:00 pm - 4:30 pm
- Saturday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
When the Library begins its new schedule on June 3rd, usual hours will be:
- Monday through Friday 9:30 am - 4:30 pm
- Saturday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Book Donations
Book donations may be left in the lobby of the library:
- Monday through Wednesday 8:30 am - 8:00 pm
- Thursday through Saturday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Donations are sorted by staff and volunteers. Some titles are added to the book collection of the library, but most titles are priced for sale in the Friends Plaza Book Loft.
