ELIGIBILITY AND QUALIFICATIONS OF CANDIDATES

General Qualifications to run for and hold public office: To hold an elective office within the City of the Glendora, candidates must be: U.S. Citizen; over 18 years of age on or before election day; a resident and registered voter living in the incorporated area of the City of Glendora at the time nomination papers are issued and continuously during his/her term of office.

Nomination Filing Period: The official nomination/filing period is Tuesday, November 13, 2012 through Friday, December 7, 2012. Should an incumbent fail to file papers by December 7, there will be an extension to Wednesday, December 12, during which any candidate other than the incumbent may file or withdraw from said office.
