About the Building and Safety Division
The Building and Safety is a division of the Public Works Department. Our services include those operations relating to development, plan review, inspection and enforcement of the adopted building codes and applicable codes within the City of Glendora. The division serves as an information and processing location for all development plan review applications.
Glendora's building codes and review processes are all designed to protect and enchance the quality of life in our community while promoting construction safety requirements. The Building Division serves as a contact point for the permit and inspection process, which involves several other departments and agencies, depending on the scope of the project.
We are committed to working as a team with each applicant to ensure a positive experience that will result in the satisfactory completion of all projects.

CONTRACTORS TO AVOID
In their ongoing effort to protect California consumers, the CSLB has identified the worst unlicensed violators who are known to prey on vulnerable and unsuspecting homeowners that are involved in new home or home improvement projects. Complaints against the following unlicensed individuals have been lodged with the CSLB, law enforcement agencies and District Attorneys around the state.
