Chief's Message

On behalf of the dedicated women and men of the Glendora Police Department, welcome to our website. The purpose of our website is to provide information to our community to answer questions and provide insight regarding police activities and resources in order to strengthen our partnership to keep Glendora safe and maintain the family values that make this community the “Pride of the Foothills”.

The Glendora Police Department has embarked on a continuous improvement philosophy. Contemporary management and leadership practices are being implemented in order to improve employee performance and accountability, improve responsiveness to community needs and improve the quality of life for all residents through innovative policing practices and partnerships. We live in a rapidly changing world and the Glendora Police Department understands that by embracing and implementing new management philosophies, modern technology systems and investing in employee development, we can provide effective and efficient public safety services to our community.

Some key resources on our website include links to:

District Policing program
In order to best serve our community, the Glendora Police Department divides the city into four policing districts: 1, 2, 3, and 4. Based on where you live or work in the city, you have representatives assigned to assist you. As an example, if you are experiencing long-term problems in your neighborhood, your District Commander can assist in working with you to remedy the issue.

Live Calls for Service and Arrest Log
The Live Calls for Service and Arrest Log section of our website is designed to keep the residents of Glendora continually informed about crimes, arrests, and other police related activities occurring in Glendora that are available as public record.

Crime Map
The Crime Map page allows the public to check areas of concern in the city for crimes trends.

Members of the Glendora Police Department understand that only through strong community support and participation can we reduce crime and improve safety and security for residents and visitors. It is my privilege to serve as your Chief of Police and I welcome your questions, ideas or concerns to ensure we are providing the best public safety service possible.

  Thank you,
  Robert M. Castro
  Chief of Police
